About the event

Catechesis

The intentional, relational, and lifelong process of disciple-making, rooted in Scripture and the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, aiming to form believers in the faith once delivered. Classes follow the "To Be a Christian: An Anglican Catechism"—a comprehensive, Q&A-based resource—to ground individuals in the Gospel, the Creeds, the Lord's Prayer, and the Ten Commandments within a sacramental community.

Definition & Purpose

It is more than just learning facts; it is an "embodied and relational practice" that shapes hearts and minds to follow Jesus. The goal is to form disciples who can "reconcile the world to Christ, plant new congregations, and make disciples of all nations".
